High Fade

It was a rockin’ good time up at the Portland House of Music on February 26th when Benny D and I drove up from New Hampshire to see High Fade, an alt-rock funk jam band from Edinburgh, Scotland. It was a little chilly that night for kilts, but it didn’t seem to phase them a bit. Maybe that was because the room was packed solid for their first sold out show in Maine.

 

The three-piece band made up of Harry Valentino (guitar/vocals), Oliver Sentance (bass) and Calvin Davidson (drums) tore through about 18 songs and an encore that included a cover of Limp Bizkit’s Break Stuff.
