OZZY
No Escape From Now

Fans of Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath will find this documentary to be one of the most heartfelt and honest that you’ll ever watch. It covers the last few years of Ozzy’s life—his struggles with neck pain, countless surgeries, pneumonia, dealing with his Parkinson’s diagnosis, and tour cancelations. All three of his children gave candid interviews that are interspersed throughout the doc with touching family moments, as well as commentary from his wife, Sharon.
Having grown up on Ozzy’s music, it was great to see his desire to comeback, especially to say a proper goodbye to his fans. The doc catches up with The Prince of Darkness as he performed with Post Malone, the recording of his album Ordinary Man with Andrew Watt and Chad Smith, his induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and then the lead up to the Back To The Beginning farewell concert in July, 2025 with his Black Sabbath brothers at Villa Park in Birmingham, England. You can see Oz totally come alive when it was time to make music or get on stage. It was almost like he forgot about all the pain he was in and the energy and adrenaline just took over. As people say, music heals.
There were a number of musicians who were also interviewed for this doc who had some of the kindest words to say about one of the greatest rock vocalists of all time. It is an emotional story to say the least about a man who many would say defined the words "heavy metal".
