Pete Pom is the driving and creative force behind the project Dramamine. His heart and soul are on full display on Dramamine's latest album Heights Lake which drops October 3rd, 2025. This seven track album displays Pete's melodic, and ethereal guitar sounds while lyrically shining a light through the darkest of emotional clouds. Heights Lake floats through a sea of heartfelt lyrics and shoegaze guitar tones which ever so slightly wash over Pete's painfelt vocals.

 

This theme of love, loss and regret permeates the album's track listing. From the opening "Dearly Beloved" as we hear Pete repeatedly say "hold on to her" underneath a layer of acoustic, and watery shoegaze sounds to the closing track "Meet You There" Dramamine oozes with emotional distinction.

 

Pete's sound is ever evolving and his willingness to take chances pays off here on Heights Lake. Pete taps into what makes Dramamine's distinct sound while also incorporating layers of piano, synthesizer, and acoustic guitars to add additional layers defining his evolution as a musician. You can't hide from pain and regret, the best thing Dramamine does here on Heights Lake, is to embrace it.
