The 22-piece orchestra, conducted by Joe Duddell, and the 8-piece choir elevate classics like “Sit Down” and “Laid” into transcendent renditions, with stripped-down arrangements that let the strings and voices shine. Lesser-known gems like “The Lake” and “Riders” are reborn with fresh vitality, while “Many Faces” delivers a powerful message of unity, amplified by the choir’s presence among the crowd and the Acropolis glowing in rainbow hues.

 

Tim Booth’s charismatic performance is a highlight, whether he’s playfully conducting Ravel’s Boléro or dancing through the audience during “Say Something.” The interplay between band, orchestra, and choir feels seamless, with moments like Josh from the choir taking lead vocals on “Someone’s Got It In For Me” showcasing their collaborative spirit.
