A New Hampshire native, Troy has been immersed in music since picking up the drums at age ten, later pairing his foundational performance background with a degree in video production and certifications in audio and live sound engineering. 

As an avid music historian, he channels this blend of technical skill and deep knowledge into writing about local and national acts spanning multiple genres, alongside guest spots on the Ben Jammin’ radio show. When he’s not covering the scene, you can find him catching live shows, touring with the band Goose, or sharing the story of how a ZZ Top show became his first concert at twelve years old.
